On Sunday 10th December, 2017 David Cummings was out with his camera to record the snowfall in Christleton. You will find other snow photographs taken by David in previous years on the website. The weather forecast got it right although we might have expected even more snow. But the snow remained for the following two days with very low temperatures. The coldest place in England was Shropshire. Temperatures rose on Wednesday and the snow was washed away with quite a bit of rainfall. So whatever time of the year it is you can have a look here as a reminder of those three cold white days in December 2017.
And don't worry if you are not fortunate to see a kingfisher on the canal. David did during his walk and was able to photograph it.
